Our story

DoublOne Studios is self-funded, independent, and run by the two of us — Rudi and Zoey. Our users fund our work through their subscriptions, which gives us full control over how we work and what we focus on. That's exactly how we want it.

"Every product exists because we needed it first."

We couldn't find tools that were good enough, so we made our own. We ship fast, keep things simple, and stay small on purpose — it means every decision is intentional.

April 2024

DoublOne

While freelancing and job hunting, we were drowning in email — high volume every day, impossible to follow up without friction, inboxes not built for focus. We started building DoublOne to fix that. It quickly became our full-time mission.

September 2024

PinkRain

As someone with ADHD, Rudi struggled with consistently taking his medications — always doubting if he already took them. A family member was dealing with multiple treatments too. We built PinkRain to make medication easier, without overwhelm or judgment.

March 2025

CaraML

We realized we could build the tools we needed. AI subscriptions were becoming a heavy expense, so we created CaraML — one subscription, all AI models. Cut costs, keep the power.

June 2025

Tuesdae Rush

For fun, we built a game that captures the rush of our lives: constant anxiety, getting worse with time. A playful mirror of the chaos we navigate every day.

June 2025

Cristalyse & Hux UI

Rudi in Data Science, Zoey in UX Design — we felt we should give back to the open-source world. We built Cristalyse and Hux UI as our contributions to the communities that shaped us.

July 2025

LeedPDF

On a Friday hackathon, Rudi decided to build a PDF tool for Windows — something cute, minimalist, with incredible performance. Funny enough, it became our fastest-growing product.

October 2025

Glucose

We truly respect VLC, but always felt the UI wasn't at the level it deserved. Glucose was born — a beautiful, open-source media player for people who care about performance AND design.

November 2025

GoldenDay

Bookmarks all over the place — we needed something like Pinterest but for everything. Feeling unstoppable, we built GoldenDay in a single week.
