One of the most frequent requests we receive from the Paperman community is support for full-screen apps. We completely understand why - staying immersed in your work without distractions is exactly what Paperman is designed for.
While we've wanted to support this since day one, we've run into some technical roadblocks with the Mac App Store.
Navigating App Store Sandboxing
Apple enforces strict security sandboxing for any app distributed through the Mac App Store. While these rules are great for security, they unfortunately prevent the Paperman effect from interacting with apps running in full-screen mode.
Because we didn't want to compromise on the experience, we decided to build an alternative solution outside of the App Store.
A Direct Download Release
A direct download version of Paperman is now available. This version is notarized by Apple and distributed securely from our website, allowing it to fully support the Paperman effect alongside full-screen apps.

For Mac App Store Users
Because you supported us early on the Mac App Store, we didn't want you to have to pay for Paperman 3. We're offering a completely free transition to our standalone lifetime license so you can enjoy full-screen support right away.
Simply follow these three steps to claim your license:

Find your App Store receipt: Open Finder and go to your Applications folder. Right-click on Paperman and select Show Package Contents.
Next, navigate to Contents > _MASReceipt. You will find a file namedreceipt- this is exactly what we need!

Share your receipt via email: Send an email to help@doubl.one with the
receiptfile attached. Be sure to send this from the email address you want your new Paperman license linked to. - Get your license: Once shared and confirmed, we will reply with your new license key and download access to Paperman 3!
