Meet Aura: DoublOne's Privacy-First Email Assistant

Most email assistants read your emails to help you. Aura is different. Aura helps you manage your inbox without ever reading your messages. It's AI assistance that respects your privacy.

The Problem with Email Assistants

We tried every email assistant out there. They all had the same problem: they needed to read your emails to help you. Gmail's Smart Compose, Outlook's suggestions, even privacy-focused alternatives—they all process your emails on their servers to provide assistance.

We wanted AI help, but we didn't want to trade our privacy for convenience. So we built Aura differently.

How Aura Works

Aura processes everything locally on your device. When you're writing an email, Aura analyzes your writing style—not your email content—to suggest replies that sound like you. It learns from your patterns: do you write formally or casually? Do you prefer short replies or detailed ones?

Aura can prioritize your inbox based on patterns it learns locally. Important emails from frequent contacts? Aura surfaces them. Newsletters you always delete? Aura learns to deprioritize them. All without sending your emails anywhere.

The Technical Challenge

Building an AI assistant that works entirely offline was harder than we thought. Most AI models are massive and require cloud processing. We had to build lightweight models that run on your device without draining your battery or slowing down your computer.

We used on-device machine learning, optimized models, and intelligent caching. The result? Aura feels instant, works offline, and never compromises your privacy.

Privacy by Design

Aura doesn't send your emails anywhere. It doesn't train on your data. It doesn't track your patterns. Everything happens locally, on your device. Your emails stay yours.

This local-first approach means Aura gets smarter for you, without compromising your privacy. It learns your writing style, your priorities, your patterns—all while keeping everything on your device.

Why It Matters

AI assistance shouldn't require you to give up your privacy. Aura proves that you can have intelligent email help without surveillance. It's AI that assists you, not spies on you.

Because your emails are private. They should stay that way, even when AI is helping you manage them.
